"Dopo Pranzo" - Espresso & Biscotti flavored Grappa
My favorite thing to drink is grappa and my favorite way to drink it is with espresso and a little sweet treat. Now you too may experience how fun it is to be me. Perfect for after lunch (dopo pranzo), breakfast, or dinner, straight out of the flask or shaken with ice (like a cool version of an Espresso Martini).
A mixture of brandy distilled from Oregon-grown Pinot Gris grapes and espresso and biscotti cookies. The Pinot Gris was precisely plucked by Lyndsay & Tim (grape glamorizers of Field Day PR) and distilled by me in a single pass after a two week wild fermentation. The spirit was rested in stainless for 6 months before dilution with an intense coffee roasted and brewed by Dirk of Dirk Dirk Coffee . The final touch was an infusion of Almond & Anise Biscotti from Sebastiano's and a very light addition of lactose and organic cane sugar to round things off.
Bottled unfiltered at 30% abv.

*technically this is a distillato d’uva as the skins and juice were fermented and distilled together but that category doesn’t exist in the USA labelling system so we’re going with grappa as a label
